The sight of Lionel Messi in full flight really is something to behold.
Currently away on international duty, the 34-year-old once again made his opposing player look foolish.
As Argentina continued their recent run of good form in a 3-0 win at home to Uruguay, Messi's goal wasn't the only talking point.
Indeed, while things are really yet to get going at club level this season following his move to Paris Saint-Germain, the Argentine has been in magnificent form for his country. In fact, perhaps this is the first time in his career when we can firmly say he plays better for Argentina than he does for his club.
That's not to say life at PSG won't improve, it's just that it's strange to finally think that after so long excelling at club level.
Defender Sebastian Coates experienced Messi's Argentina brilliance first hand.
Even at his age, Messi remains a dribbler like no other. Picking the ball up on the halfway line, he glides into, causing the former Liverpool defender to back off until he's pretty much outside his own penalty area.
At that point, the Uruguayan feels compelled to at least try and rob the man of possession, though that goes predictably badly too.
Dragged one way and another, Coates appears to lose his footing and collapses to the ground akin to Jerome Boateng's attempts to stop Messi in the 2015 Champions League semi-final.

To think the World Cup is just over a year away. Maybe, just maybe, Messi's international career is hitting new heights at the right time.
