Pretty much nobody by now needs telling that Erling Haaland is a machine of a man. A physically imposing, deceptively quick, lethal goalscorer capable of bullying any defence in Europe, the fact the Norweigan has only recently turned 21 should strike fear into the hearts of those trying to stop him. Already, Haaland would appear to be the complete package.Still, if the modern age of football has taught us anything, it's that the advance in sports science and the improvement of behind the scenes care top stars are given access to allows the best to keep breaking records. Indeed, while not to compare the Borussia Dortmund star to the likes of Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo just yet, he feels a lot more stable than, say, the Brazilian Ronaldo, Michael Owen or Wayne Rooney did amid their breakthroughs. Of course, that could all change and nothing is guaranteed. Still, it's hard to look past the striker dominating Europe for years to come. In fact, a recent image Haaland uploaded on social media shows the extent of his work off the pitch. Where the striker was once a somewhat lanky and slight forward, he now looks like an absolute machine. Posting a photo from Spain having missed Norway's games over the international break (which will do little to quell the rumours linking him with a move to Real Madrid), Haaland looks in incredible shape.

"Tell me that isn’t the perfect physique. He isn’t human," said @akhubigz.

"Elite body, man's gonna continue bossing football at the highest level with this physique. Mentality monster," said @OneTwo6ix.

"This guy is genuinely terrifying," said @aadxl.

To think former Molde teammate Ruben Gabrielsen once revealed Haaland was considered a 'small guy' when training with the club.

"When he came to the club, he was a small guy... he was not so good to be honest with you," he said (via GFFN).

"I was just thinking: 'Yeah, maybe he can play in Norway.'

"And then he got sick and injured, and we didn't see him for a long time, and he came back big as f**k... he was so big! He was a different animal!

"He was killing everybody in training... we just started laughing and I was like, 'Who is this guy?' And then it just skyrocketed from there."
