Call of Duty Warzone Season 1 is next on the developers' agenda with some seismic changes expected to be made.
Raven Software will be collaborating with Sledgehammer Games, the developers of the all-new title Vanguard, in commemorating the launch of the World War 2 first-person shooter which takes place during and after the war to prevent the rise of 'The Fourth Reich'.
Gamers are set to wave goodbye to Verdansk who many hold a love-hate relationship with the legendary fictional Ukrainian City, which has been the home for Warzone since the game's launch back during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
With this in mind, many will be keen to get stuck into the all-new Pacific map which could be added to Season 1 - although this is yet to be officially confirmed at this time.
The gaming community will be raring to go and get stuck into Season 1 which is expected to have weapons, operators, skins and much more that is WWII-themed.
Warzone Season 1 Release Date
At the time of writing, the Battle Pass on Season 6 states that it comes to an end on Wednesday 1st December 2021, which means that we could see Season 1 begin on Thursday 2nd December 2021.
Of course, this has yet to be officially confirmed by either Raven or Sledgehammer, who are believed to be helping out with developmental operations for this new season.
While some may be frustrated that the new content might not be available until after Vanguard is released, it gives the developers the time that they need that all possible glitches and bugs are ironed out before release.
This article will be updated over the coming days, weeks and months as soon as more information is released.
