Press Release

Play Beyond issued the following press release for the tournament:

1047 Games, Logitech Esports Services, & ASTRO Gaming have partnered together to launch the Splitgate Pro Series (SPS) and establish the future of Splitgate esports.

The Pro Series is the official program for Splitgate’s most passionate players and fans, designed to find and showcase the highest calibre of skill within the competitive Splitgate community.

As the program evolves, the SPS will continue to support the top Splitgate talent while also providing a viable avenue for amateur players to find their path to pro and earn the title of Splitgate professional player.

The SPS will be hosted on the PlayBeyond.com tournament platform for all Pro Series bracket tournaments and Challenger ladder events.

How To Qualify

Play Beyond confirm the qualifying requirements on their official website as follows:

The first six Open Qualifiers will reward seeding points to players based on their team’s placement in each event. All players on a team will earn points that can be tracked on the Leaderboard.

At the end of the sixth qualifier, the top seven rosters with the highest point totals will become qualified for the Launch Season Finals.

Points earned in qualifiers are cumulative and will be used to determine seeding for each weekly event. Players are permitted to switch teams and register with new rosters each week, until Qualifier #6 when official rosters will qualify through the Leaderboard.

After the first six tournaments, one final “Last Chance Qualifier” event will be held with a winner-take-all chance to receive the 8th and final position in the Season Finals.
