Despite rumours suggesting otherwise, Tony Khan has said that he hasn't really spoken with Bray Wyatt about a move to AEW.

Rumours suggesting that Bray Wyatt is going to be signing with AEW, with reports even suggesting that a debut last month was expected.

That didn't end up happening, and AEW President Tony Khan has given his say on the situation, clarifying that he hasn't really spoken to Bray Wyatt.

Speaking with WFAN's Moose & Maggie show, Khan said that while he isn't ruling out the possibility of Wyatt signing in the future, nothing is in the pipeline right now.

“He’s a great wrestler, and I have to be honest, we haven’t talked at all. I’ve known him in personal life, but in reality, we haven’t talked. But you never know.”

It seems like Tony Khan may have been telling the truth, as opposed to trying to through some people off the scent before a potential Wyatt debut, as some have speculated.

Reason reports have indicated that while Bray Wyatt has no deal in place with IMPACT Wrestling right now, the promotion is definitely interested in securing his services and bringing him in.

Bray Wyatt last wrestled for WWE at WrestleMania 37 in April, losing to fellow former WWE Champion and long-time rival, Randy Orton.

Wyatt appeared on the following night's episode of Monday Night Raw, but this ended up being his final appearance in WWE, as after a few months off TV, Wyatt was released by WWE on July 31.
