Release Date

Director of Sports Interactive Miles Jacobson went to Twitter to tell the Football Manager community that the beta is now live. It went live at 8pm today on Thursday 21st October 2021. He noted that:

• You can carry on your saves (single player) from the beta in the final game, but will need to start a new one to get any new data changes once it's released.
• You can also carry on your multiplayer saves, but we'd recommend starting a new one once the game is released

New Features

Not all the new features have been confirmed by the developers of Football Manager 2022, but we do know that there will be:

• An exciting new data hub to make the experience even better for players of the game.
• Brand new role for wingbacks
• Great new animation system

How To Access the beta

It needs to be noted that Football Manager players who want to access the beta will need to pre-order the game first.

You can easily pre-order Football Manager 2022 off of any site which sells games like Amazon or GAME.

How much does it cost to play the beta

Technically the beta is free to play, but due to the fact that you have to pre-order the game the play it, you are basically paying for the beta too.

Pre-ordering the beta costs £40.00

Once the developers feel like the beta is ready to release, they will provide more details about how to play it, but they will most likely send a link to download the beta. It will be available to play on PC/Mac.
