Journalist Dean Jones thinks that Tottenham are in a difficult situation regarding Tanguy Ndombele.
The Frenchman was linked with an exit during a summer of uncertainty but ended up staying and has since featured heavily in the Premier League.
What's the latest news with Ndombele?
This might be the 24-year-old's third season in England, but it wouldn't be unfair to suggest that he still hasn't settled.
Ndombele has made 80 appearances for Spurs but is still far from a guaranteed starter despite being the club's record arrival when he joined from Lyon in 2019.
He appeared to be finding his feet under Jose Mourinho last season, although that soon changed under Nuno Espirito Santo when he failed to play a single second in pre-season or in the early parts of the campaign.
Ndombele was linked with a return to Lyon earlier this summer in a deal which would have suited both parties. However, he ended up staying in north London.
Since his future was decided, Ndombele has come straight into the team, starting the last three Premier League games, and has featured in both the Carabao Cup and Europa Conference League.
But Ndombele is yet to hit top form and still doesn't look overly happy to be playing for Tottenham.
Jones suggested that Nuno might be giving Ndombele a run in the team to keep his value high, although his involvement has coincided with Dele Alli's poor form and Giovani Lo Celso generally not being available due to his international commitments.

What did Jones say?
He told GIVEMESPORT: "It's very interesting it's come to this because talent wise, there shouldn't be any doubt that he's in the starting line-up.
"The fact they haven't sold him gives them a dilemma. You need a way to work him back in, so he's still got value on the market. It's a weird situation, but Tottenham have to find a way to make it work."
Should Ndombele be starting?
Ndombele, who earns £200,000-per-week, has been a real mixed bag since his return to the side. His performance at Wolves portrayed the best and worst of himself, with his goal a moment of individual brilliance, whilst his role in Wolves' were woeful to say the least.
He remains Tottenham's most talented midfielder, but what he brings in quality he lacks in work-rate, something that Nuno demands from his players.
Right now, Ndombele is probably in the side solely based on his ability and a lack of depth in his position. It's unclear what the future holds for him at Tottenham but getting him back to his best is a scenario that would only benefit both parties, not least the player with a World Cup less than 14 months away.
