Journalist Luke Hatfield has revealed that Trincao's participation in Wolves' game against Aston Villa is in major doubt after he recently tested positive for COVID-19.
The 21-year-old has started all but one of his side's seven Premier League fixtures to date, but is in serious danger of missing out altogether this weekend.

While on international duty with Portugal last week, Trincao returned a positive test and was immediately placed into self-isolation.
The result came back on Wednesday, 10 days before Wolves travel to Villa Park, meaning that it is touch and go as to whether the winger will be available for that contest.

With the game fast approaching, Hatfield has labelled Trincao as Bruno Lage's biggest doubt to play against Villa.
He feels that the attacker is even less likely to play than Raul Jimenez, who is set to play for Mexico on Thursday, a little over 48 hours before Wolves are back in action.
Providing an update on Trincao's situation, Hatfield told GIVEMESPORT: “I think Trincao’s more of a doubt than Jimenez or anyone else because you just don’t know how COVID affects different players, do you? Some players are fine with it, but it knocks some people for six, doesn’t it?”
