The Bayern Munich left-back is still only 20-years-old having burst onto the scene during the 2019/20 campaign.

The reason fans may overlook him is that it feels as though he’s already been around for ages.

He’s already won three league titles with the German club, as well as two Germany cups, a Champions League, a Super Cup and a Club World Cup.

Davies represents Canada and has already scored 10 goals in 28 matches for them. And his 10th goal in Wednesday’s World Cup qualifier against Panama was something else.

There didn’t appear to be too much danger as Panama’s Sam Adekugbe appeared set to deal with a loose ball. But, out of nowhere, Davies appeared. He sprinted half of the pitch and somehow stole the ball off Adekugbe.

He then beat another defender before finishing brilliantly past Luis Mejia.
