Paulo Dybala is absolutely deadly from free-kick situations.

The Juventus forward is a certified set-piece specialist and there are few players operating in the sport right now who can lay claim to being better than him in that department.

Dybala has scored 11 free-kick goals for the Bianconeri since joining from Palermo and that rather low total may surprise a few.

But you have to remember that the Argentine was starved of dead-ball opportunities for around three years due to the presence of Cristiano Ronaldo in the Juve team.

However, while he was often second-choice for free-kicks when Ronaldo was strutting his stuff in Turin, Dybala was still able to add two more to his individual tally.

The first of those came in the 2019/20 Champions League group stage against Atletico Madrid and it was a strike of the highest quality.

Dybala stood over the ball from a ridiculously tight angle and somehow managed to beat Jan Oblak - a man revered as the best goalkeeper in the world - with a powerful left-footed shot.

The precision from the talented 27-year-old was otherworldly and it's without question one of the best free-kick goals in Champions League history.

And amazingly, a supporter in the stands captured the moment on camera from the most perfect angle imaginable.

Some may believe that Oblak should have done better, but the fact of the matter is that the Slovenian almost certainly didn't even get a glimpse of the ball before it rippled the back of his net.

The venom on the strike from Dybala was way too much to handle and we cannot wait to see him taking aim from set-pieces on a regular basis for Juve moving forward.

He's started the 2021/22 season in fine style, netting three goals and contributing two assists in six games across all competitions.
