The Undertaker is known to be one of the most serious characters in WWE history, but 'The Deadman' lost all composure at a live event in the late 2000s.

At a house show in what looks like 2009, The Undertaker teamed up Triple H to take on The Legacy stable, which consisted of Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiasie, in a handicap match.

There's nothing out of the ordinary here, but while 'The Deadman' was waiting to be tagged in, he completely broke character, poured water all over himself, and started sprint up and down the apron.

The Undertaker then started stamping his feet on the ring steps, all while the audience either sat back in amazement at what they were seeing, or just started laughing out of pure shock.

It's not uncommon for WWE stars to be slightly more relaxed with their characters at house shows, as the events are not taped and broadcast on TV.

However, The Undertaker is someone who has always kept his 'Deadman' gimmick well protected, even at these non-televised events, so seeing him go mental was something special.

'Taker has only recently started breaking character, with the fantastic Last Ride documentary on the WWE Network giving a great insight into Mark Calaway, the man behind the legendary gimmick.

The Undertaker has been in the news somewhat lately, revealing in a recent interview that he is completely done with wrestling and won't be returning to the ring anytime soon.

It's always possible that WWE has The Undertaker return for a one-off appearance in a non-wrestling capacity, but another match does seem off the table.

You can watch WWE Raw and Friday Night SmackDown live here in the UK on BT Sport.
