Celtic full-back Mark Wilson is a January target for Fulham according to the Daily Mail.

The 27-year-old defender, who is out of contract in the summer has been earmarked by Cottagers boss Martin Jol as a value-for-money player who could improve his squad at Craven Cottage.

Bhoys boss Neil Lennon will be keen to keep Wilson at Celtic Park with talks over a new contract to extend his stay at Parkhead believed to be in the pipeline.

Fulham scouts were in attendance for Celtic's 0-0 draw with Hibernian on Saturday, running the rule over Wilson with a view to making a move when the transfer window reopens in the New Year.

Whilst the goalless draw turned out to be a disappointing result for the Hoops, the clean sheet will have done Wilson's chances of a move west London no harm at all.
