Manchester United looked a sorry sight during their Premier League defeat to Leicester City.Entering the game at the King Power Stadium, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men were still licking their wounds from clashes with Aston Villa and Everton at Old Trafford that yielded just a single point.And now the pressure on the United boss has been turned up to 11 on the back of a 4-2 humbling that leaves the Red Devils without a league win to their name in three attempts.

Mason Greenwood had fired the visitors into a first-half lead with a thunderous strike, but the cracks were already starting to show by the time Youri Tielemans equalised with a cracker of his own.
David de Gea did his best to keep United competitive with a number of fantastic saves, but a late flurry of goals from ÇaÄŸlar Söyüncü, Jamie Vardy and Patson Daka saw Leicester take the victory.

Marcus Rashford had given the briefest glimmer of hope for United by making it 2-2 with less than 10 minutes to play, but what turned out to be Leicester's winner transpired just 54 seconds later.
All in all, it made for the latest nadir in a season that had promised so much on the back of United signing Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane and Cristiano Ronaldo in their quest for a title charge.
Solskjaer takes the blame
But alas, by the time that Solskjaer stepped in front of the media after the Leicester defeat, the growing storm clouds over the club couldn't have been any clearer.
The United manager, to his credit, fronted a lot of the blame for the debacle and hinted that the decision to rush back Harry Maguire despite him barely having trained was an ill-fated call.
According to Shamoon Hafez, Solskjaer remarked: "I pick the team, Harry Maguire showed no reaction and I hold my hand up if that does not work out. If we concede four, I probably made a bad decision.
"Lately we have not been in great form, lost too many points and that is something we have to look at. We might have to change, do we need more legs in there? What do we need?"
Pogba's honest interview
And Paul Pogba was clearly feeling just as deflated as his manager with the United midfielder also facing up to the questions with a Sky Sports interview that showed just how gutted he really was.
The World Cup winner alluded to some of the reasons why United's form might have been so poor in recent weeks and didn't shy away from the fact that their performances hadn't been good enough.
“To be honest, we have been having these kind of games for a long time," Pogba lamented, per Hafez. "We have not found the problem, conceding easy goals, stupid goals.
"We need to be more mature, play with more experience and arrogance in a good way. We need to find something, we need to change. We need to find the right mentality and the right tactic. Stick with it and resolve the problem."

You only need to look at the words coming out of Pogba and Solskjaer's mouthes, as well as their general demeanour, to get a sense of the situation that United currently find themselves in.
Pogba, in particular, appeared to be physically and mentally affected by the disappointing nature of both the performance and the result, showing just how much he cares about the club's predicament.
While his own personal output in the Leicester game might have lacked, just as it did for so many others, you've got to credit him for speaking with such honesty and tact after such a crushing loss.

Only time will tell whether tactical tweaks can save United from their current slump or if Solskjaer will have to be sent packing, but one thing is for certain: something's got to give at Old Trafford.
