Barcelona striker Gerard Deulofeu is still stalling on contract talks with the Catalan giants, according to the Daily Mail, with Arsenal and Chelsea closely monitoring the situation.

Deulofeu is concerned about getting limited game time for Barcelona, and while he wants to stay in Spain, the 17-year-old is willing to head abroad if he is guaranteed time on the pitch.

Both Arsenal and Chelsea have been keeping tabs on Deulofeu for some time now, with Arsenal in particular looking at bringing the starlet on board with their youth policy.

But Chelsea have recently signed some young and up and coming players as well, and Andre Villas-Boas has revealed that Roman Abramovich has pushed towards building a team rather than purchasing it to make Chelsea’s successes more sustainable in the long-term.

Barcelona are still hopeful of signing the £3.75 million rated striker on a new contract, but with Arsenal and Chelsea circling, Deulofeu is tempted to ply his trade in England.
