Ever since Survivor Series 2018 when their scheduled match was pulled due to injury, fans have been clamouring to see Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey compete in a singles match.

While Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey did share the ring in the main event of WrestleMania 35, WWE inserted Charlotte Flair into the match, so we still haven't seen that big singles bout.

Since WrestleMania 35 in April 2019, both Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey have started families, with Lynch and Rousey giving birth to their first children in December 2020 and September 2021 respectively.

While Becky Lynch has returned to WWE, we have not seen Ronda Rousey in a WWE ring since April 2019, and there is no word on whether or not she is going to return or not.

However, Becky Lynch doesn't only think that Ronda Rousey is going to return to WWE, but 'The Man' also believes that the pair will have their highly-anticipated singles match at some stage.

Speaking to Ryan Satin on the Out of Character podcast, Lynch said that she expects the match to happen, and says that her return may encourage Rousey to also make her way back to WWE.

“Yeah, and I do think it will. The fact that I’ve had a baby and came back so great that she’ll probably want to one up me and she’ll try to come back in three months. Then I’ll be right there to punch her right in the face, give her a Rock Bottom, out of here in 20 seconds, Ronda.”

Becky Lynch will be in action at WWE Crown Jewel on Thursday where she defends her SmackDown Women's Championship against Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair.

Lynch will be hoping to get back to winning ways this week after 'The Man' was pinned in a singles match for the first time in close to 1000 days, which you can read more about by clicking here.

You can watch WWE Crown Jewel on October 21 live in the US on Peacock and in all other international markets on the WWE Network.
