Roberto Mancini’s son Andreas has moved to Oldham on loan, according to the Daily Mail, with the 19-year-old set to stay at the club for one month.

Andreas came through the Inter Milan youth ranks before Mancini signed him up in November 2010 to the under 21 Elite Development Squad, but the youngster is desperate to start getting some game time.

City are not currently known for giving their youth the chance to be part of the starting line up, and were recently criticized by midfield target Adam Maher’s father for their treatment of young players.

But Mancini is determined to prove the Adam Maher wrong, and while his son will gain more time with the senior squad at Oldham, when he returns to City the manager will give the midfielder the chance to show his worth.

City have also sent striker Luca Scapuzzi on loan to the club.
