Long-standing Chelsea target urges Beckham move

Javier Pastore believes that Tottenham target David Beckham should make the move to Paris Saint Germain, and be part of a club building from the ground up to challenge for domestic and European honours.

"David is a good player and I like the idea, but it's the club's decision and they haven't asked us [the players]," Pastore said.

The Argentine, who has been a long-standing target for Chelsea, made the move to PSG instead of Stamford Bridge in the last transfer window.

And while Chelsea were unable to get their man, with big spending PSG willing to offer bigger money for Pastore’s services than the Blues, Tottenham now look set to lose out on Beckham to the French side as well.
