One of the biggest WWE events of the year is just around the corner in what will be the 35th annual Survivor Series in the company's decorated history.

The likes of Roman Reigns, Becky Lynch, Big E and Bianca Belair are expected to feature on the action-packed show which has typically revolved around the "brand split" narrative between superstars from RAW and SmackDown.

With fans permitted to enter once more following the COVID-19 pandemic, this year's event will be the first time since 2019 that the WWE universe will have last attended Survivor Series.

With this in mind, fans of the franchise will be dying to know exactly when the show takes place and what it will entail.

The origins of Survivor Series go back to 1987 and had intended to be a tradition of Thanksgiving in the USA, a holiday that takes place during the last Thursday of November every year.

WWE have since moved away from that and the emphasis switched to the heated rivalry between both of the main shows.
