WWE reportedly bringing back 'Retro Raw' in January 2022

WWE is reportedly bringing back 'Retro Raw' in January 2022

Brilliant news for fans of wrestling nostalgia, as 'Retro Raw' will reportedly be brought back in WWE in January 2022.

WWE put on a throwback episode of Friday Night SmackDown earlier on this year, and it seems like Monday Night Raw is going to be getting similar treatment in 2022.

Andrew Zarian, who was the first to report that WWE would be bringing back the King of the Ring tournament in 2021, is reporting that 'Retro Raw' is going to be returning next year.

We won't have to wait long until the themed WWE Raw returns earlier, as Zarian's sources have told him that WWE is going to be putting on 'Retro Raw' in January 2022.

While details about 'Retro Raw' are limited at the moment, you have to think that WWE is going to go with an old-school set for the show, as well as some appearances from some WWE legends.

These themed episodes of Raw tend to be pretty big ratings movers for WWE, so you have to suspect that WWE will also pack the show with some big-time names to capitalise on that.

As noted, details regarding what WWE is planning for 'Retro Raw' are pretty limited at the moment, so make sure you stay tuned to GiveMeSport for any potential new information on the matter.

There have been reports that WWE is going to be looking to do even more themed shows in 2022, so make sure you also stay turned to GiveMeSport for information on that.

You can watch Monday Night Raw every single week live here in the UK on BT Sport.
