The journalist told GIVEMESPORT: "He is a realistic option in the sense that he's available and I think that he would be interested in the job. That is my understanding."

Lampard started his managerial career with Championship side Derby County, where he was appointed in 2018.
The 43-year-old's reign lasted 57 matches, with him chalking up 26 wins along the way and narrowly missing out on promotion to the Premier League following a play-off final defeat to Aston Villa.
Lampard was then named as Chelsea's new head coach in the summer of 2019 and he went on to guide the Blues to 44 victories from 84 outings before being shown the door in January.
