Michael Bisping tells Conor McGregor to pick on someone his own size after latest incident

Michael Bisping tells 'bully' Conor McGregor to pick on someone his own size after latest incident

Michael Bisping has labelled Conor McGregor 'a bully' for allegedly punching a well-known Italian DJ in the face and leaving him with a bloody lip and nose in front of his wife.

The ex UFC legend, 41, described the 11st former two-weight champion's behaviour as 'stupid' for reportedly getting into a scuffle with musician Francesco Facchinetti while on holiday with his family in Italy.

McGregor, 33, nicknamed Notorious, was attending a gala event at the St Regis hotel in Rome on Sunday when he apparently threw a punch at Facchinetti for no reason.

Bisping said via his YouTube channel: "What is going on? What is going on? Why is he doing this?

"I don't know, I don't have a personal relationship with the guy but from the outside, it seems like he's got all the money in the world, he's got all the fame in the world right, he's got everything he ever wanted.

"It seems like he needs some people around him right to tell him no, because he's going around, he's being unchallenged, he's getting away with it every single time, and if you're getting away with it, why are you going to change your ways?

Michael Bisping thought Conor McGregor's alleged behaviour was 'stupid' and labelled him a bully

"It's only when you get held accountable that you decide to say, 'Okay, I've got to stop doing this, I've got to make some changes in my life'.

"I'm assuming there was a lot of drink involved, I don't know that for a fact but one would assume, it was 2:30 AM, middle of the night, early hours of the morning, we've all done stupid stuff when we're drunk...

"But listen, Francesco Facchinetti is the victim here. The guy assaulted him. You make your bed, you lie in it. But at some point, Conor's got to get his s--- together man, because this is going to end badly one day."

Where was Conor McGregor born?

Bisping and McGregor have been jawing back and forth at each other on social media in recent weeks, which continued Sunday

Paradigm Sports, who represent both fighters, did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

“I’m not a fan of this guy, you know? I don’t think anyone is a fan of this guy, you know, and I think that soon he’s going to run out of steam," Bisping was quoted as saying by BJPENN.com.

"The train is going to run out of steam, you know what I mean? It can’t continue like this and one day he’s going to f------ pick on the wrong person and by the way, the old guy at the bar, Machine Gun Kelly and DJ Francesco Facchinetti, these guys aren’t tough guys.

"I’m not trying to sound tough for myself but he’s not starting on me. Francesco Facchinetti looks like he couldn’t punch his way out of a wet paper bag. Machine Gun Kelly looks like the biggest wimp you’ve ever seen in your life and the old guy in the bar is an old guy at the bar.

"If you’re such a b------, go and pick on someone your own size because someone not your own size isn’t hard is it? Pick on someone that can fight. You’re a professional fighter.

"You are supposed to be looking for challenges but what he is essentially turned into right now is a bully you know and no one likes a bully.”
