Liverpool journalist Emmet Gates has predicted Curtis Jones to play for England in the future.
This is Jones' second full season in the Reds first-team, although the midfielder, valued at £27m by Transfermarkt, hasn't yet been rewarded with a call-up by Gareth Southgate.

Despite having established himself as a full-time part of Jurgen Klopp's side, 2021-2022 has proved a frustrating campaign for Jones.
He recently marked his first start of the season against Brentford with a goal, which helped him keep his place against Manchester City the following weekend.
But Jones struggled against the champions, although his WhoScored rating (6.84) doesn't indicate that, although that was bumped up by the fact he assisted Mohamed Salah's individual effort despite playing a simple pass for the Egyptian.
Overall, Jones has played just 172 minutes in the Premier League and his best performance came in the Champions League in Porto when he claimed a man-of-the-match rating of 8.75.

That display came after Southgate had already named his squad for the World Cup qualifiers against Andorra and Hungary, which saw him miss out on being named and instead went away with the Under-21s, playing just 34 minutes against the Andorrans.
Had Jones been named in the recent squad, he would have been the second youngest player behind Bukayo Saka, and Gates is confident that Jones' time will cup to shine on the international stage.

When asked about his potential, Gates told GIVEMESPORT: "There is a future England international there in Jones, you just need time, patience is the key word."
When could Jones get his first England call-up?
Southgate has proved time and time again during his five years in charge that age isn't a factor, and he will pick you if you're playing well enough.
But the difficulty for Jones is that the central midfield department is arguably the most competitive in the squad, with the likes of Phil Foden, Mason Mount, Jude Bellingham, and his Liverpool teammate Jordan Henderson competing for just two positions, with Declan Rice now a certain starter.
Unless something changes drastically, Jones' maiden call-up isn't likely to come next month, but there's plenty of football across all competitions to be played before the squad get together after that in late-March.
