Jake Paul’s long time rival Dillon Danis has alleged Tyron Woodley was contractually not allowed to knock out the YouTuber in their fight in August.

After eight rounds, Paul defeated the former UFC welterweight champion via a points decision and made Woodley get ‘I love Jake Paul’ tattooed on his finger as his forfeit for losing.

But much controversy has arisen around their dust-off, with Conor McGregor’s training partner Dillon Danis claiming Woodley didn’t hit Paul when he had the chance.

Appearing on The MMA Hour last night, Danis said: “Tyron Woodley, from what I heard, had it in the contract that he was not allowed to knock out Jake Paul.

“I swear on anything he was against the ropes, I swear, that’s why when Jake Paul was against the ropes, Tyron Woodley didn’t hit him.

"I’m telling you right now. It was in his contract where it said you’re not allowed to knock him out.”

Paul, 24, moved to a 4-0 fight record after he was awarded judges’ scores of 77-75 and 78-74, while his opponent secured the third judge’s vote 77-75.

Woodley notably struck Paul with a strong left hook in the fourth round, but Paul out-punched the former UFC fighter, landing 71 to Woodley’s 52 strikes during the fight.

Paul looks now set to take on British fighter Tommy Fury later this year, with boxing promoter Frank Warren confirming last week that a deal between the pair is “close.”

But Paul’s long time rival Danis also took aim at his next opponent, Fury, claiming that the British fighter’s previous combatant, Anthony Taylor held an MMA record of 5-20, which is actually 7-5.

Danis repeatedly said Taylor was “so bad” and also confirmed he would be making his comeback fight, after undergoing knee surgery, to either Diego Sanchez or Jake Shields.

“When I come back, my comeback fight is either gonna be Jake Shields or Diego Sanchez. That’s who I wanna fight when I come back,” Danis said

“I can send you the messages that Diego says, that motherf****r is crazy. So if he wants to get it, I told him too, I was like, ‘Bro I’m gonna hurt you so bad.’

“Jake Shields can get it too. John Wayne Parr. I don’t care who it is. I’m going to come back and gonna fight one of them.

"Even Michael ‘Venom’ Page, I’ll fight him. He’s so bad, he’s terrible.”
