Banners

No information has yet been released regarding the new banners that will be coming as part of Genshin Impact 2.4 but we will update this page once they are available.

The banner characters for Genshin Impact Update 2.3 were Arataki Itto and Gorou. Both of the new playable warriors were confirmed by the game’s official Twitter account.

MiHoYo will now be announcing new fighters and playable content for upcoming updates on Twitter to try and stop leaks and misinformation from being spread out among the player base…although leaks do still seem to make their way out of the studio and into the player base.

Patch Notes

Here are the full Patch Notes for the Genshin Impact 2.4 Update:

〓Update Details〓

I. New Characters

5-Star Character “Lonesome Transcendence” Shenhe (Cryo)

  • ◇ Vision: Cryo
  • ◇ Weapon: Polearm
  • ◇ An adepti disciple with a most unusual air about her. Having spent much time cultivating in isolation in Liyue’s mountains, she has become every bit as cool and distant as the adepti themselves.
  • ◆ Shenhe’s Elemental Skill, “Spring Spirit Summoning,” can produce different effects based on how it is used: when pressed, she will rush forward and deal Cryo DMG, whereas when held, she will deal AoE Cryo DMG in front of her. These two different usage methods will provide teammates with Icy Quill effects that will be triggered for a different number of times based on the usage method. Icy Quill increases Cryo DMG dealt by characters’ Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attacks, Elemental Skills, and Elemental Bursts based on Shenhe’s own ATK.
  • Her Elemental Burst, “Divine Maiden’s Deliverance,” deals sustained AoE Cryo DMG to opponents in the field, and also decreases the Cryo RES and Physical RES of opponents in the field.

4-Star Character “Stage Lucida” Yun Jin (Geo)

  • ◇ Vision: Geo
  • ◇ Weapon: Polearm
  • ◇ A renowned Liyue opera singer who is skilled in both playwriting and singing. Her style is one-of-a-kind, exquisite and delicate, much like the person herself.
  • ◆ When Yun Jin uses her Elemental Skill, “Opening Flourish,” she charges upward, forming a shield. After the skill button is released, when its duration ends, or when the shield breaks, it will deal Geo DMG. DMG dealt is based on Yun Jin’s DEF, and Shield DMG Absorption is based on Yun Jin’s Max HP.
  • Her Elemental Burst “Cliffbreaker’s Banner,” deals a one-time AoE Geo DMG to nearby opponents and grants all nearby party members a “Flying Cloud Flag Formation” which will increase DMG dealt by Normal Attacks. The increase will be based on Yun Jin’s own DEF. Flying Cloud Flag Formation will disappear when the number of times is used up or at the end of the duration.
  • ◆ During the event wish “The Transcendent One Returns,” the event-exclusive 5-star character “Lonesome Transcendence” Shenhe (Cryo) and 4-star character “Stage Lucida” Yun Jin (Geo) will get a huge drop-rate boost!

II. New Area

Enkanomiya

  • The now-awakened Enkanomiya calls out to a hero. Beneath the still waters lies a new realm.
  • ◇ After the Version 2.4 update, Enkanomiya in the Inazuma region will be available.
  • ◇ Unlock Criteria:
  • • Reach Adventure Rank 30 or above
  • • Complete the Archon Quest “Chapter II: Act III – Omnipresence Over Mortals”
  • • Complete the World Quests “The Moon-Bathed Deep” and “The Still Water’s Flow”

III. New Events

  • “May Fortune Find You” Daily Login Event
  • During the event, log in on 7 days in total to receive Intertwined Fate ×10 and other rewards!
  • ▌Event Duration
  • 2022/01/25 04:00 – 2022/02/09 03:59
  • ▌Eligibility
  • Reach Adventure Rank 5 or above

IV. New Equipment

  • 1. New Weapon
  • Calamity Queller (5-Star Polearm)
  • ◇ A keenly honed weapon forged from some strange crystal. Its faint blue light seems to whisper of countless matters now past.
  • ◆ Increases all Elemental DMG Bonus. Obtain Consummation after using an Elemental Skill. This effect will increase the ATK of the character equipping it by a certain amount per second, stacking up to 6 times. When the character equipped with this weapon is not on the field, Consummation’s ATK increase is doubled.
  • ◆ During the event wish “Epitome Invocation,” the event-exclusive 5-star weapon Calamity Queller (Polearm) will receive a huge drop-rate boost!

V. New Outfits

Keqing – “Opulent Splendor”

  • ◇ Keqing’s formal wear. Amidst the beautiful dawn of the Lantern Rite, the threads weaved by days of hard work intertwine into a light yet magnificent appearance.
  • ◆ After the Version 2.4 update – 2022/02/14 03:59, during this period, Keqing’s outfit “Opulent Splendor” will be available for purchase in the Character Outfit Shop at a limited-time discount. During the discount period, the price of the outfit is 1,350 Genesis Crystals. The price will revert to 1,680 Genesis Crystals after the limited-time discount ends. The outfit can only be purchased once.

Ningguang – “Orchid’s Evening Gown”

  • ◇ Ningguang’s formal wear. The long cyan skirt traces her elegant curves, and the butterfly wings at her ankles lend the outfit a touch of light grace.
  • ◆ During Version 2.4, Travelers can obtain Ningguang’s “Orchid’s Evening Gown” for free through the “Fleeting Colors in Flight” event. After Version 2.4 is over, Travelers can buy the outfit in the Character Outfit Shop.

  • VII. New Enemies
  • “Primordial Bathysmal Vishap,” “Rimebiter Bathysmal Vishap,” and “Bolteater Bathysmal Vishap”
  • ◇ A predator that lies in wait within the pitch-dark watery depths. It appears to have adapted to some unknown power out in the deep seas such that it can use elements other than Hydro…
  • ◇ When it faces strong foes, it will use its powerful Cleansing Shower. Characters hit by this attack will lose a certain amount of Elemental Energy. If they do not have sufficient Elemental Energy, they will lose HP.
