Borussia Dortmund starlet Mario Goetze is adamant he is happy with live at the German champions, despite reports he's ready to join Arsenal.

The north-Londoners have been heavily linked with a move for the 19-year-old, who is highly coveted throughout Europe.

But the Arsemal target says he's content with live in his homeland.

"I am really happy here," said Gotze. "That is all that counts.

"I have a contract here until 2014 and I am more than happy.

"I think you can see that too and that is why I am happy to be here."

Arsenal were reported to have made a significant step in signing Goetze last week, when they sent a scout to watch the player.

Arsenal have a reported £50 million to spend on players following their summer exodus, and could add to their squad as early as January.
