The name Keith "Bearcat" Lee didn't last too long, as former NXT Champion Keith Lee seemingly underwent yet another name change on Monday Night Raw last night. On last night's episode of Monday Night Raw, WWE played a promotional package for Keith 'Bearcat' Lee, who otherwise didn't feature on the broadcast.Fans were quick to point out that it seems as if WWE has dropped the 'Keith' part of his name, meaning the WWE star could just be referred to as 'Bearcat Lee' moving forwards. While nothing has been officially confirmed, it doesn't seem likely that WWE could play a promotional video package for a wrestler and not include his full name.

Bearcat Lee is going to be on Monday Night Raw next week, the first show from the red brand since Crown Jewel, so we'll get 100% confirmation on his new name in just six days.

Bearcat Lee returned to WWE TV last month as a heel, with WWE seemingly wanting to go in a new direction in an attempt to get the 36-year-old to where they want him to be.

The former NXT Champion remained on Monday Night Raw in the WWE Draft, freeing him up for feuds with the likes of Bobby Lashley, Big E, Edge and Randy Orton on the red brand.

As of right now, there is no word on the plans that WWE has for Keith Lee, but reports have suggested that the company wanted to pair him with Adam Cole before he left for AEW.

To the surprise of many, the reported plan was for Adam Cole, one of the best wrestlers in the world, to be the heel manager for Keith Lee, which would have been quite something to behold.

You can watch Bearcat Lee live every week on Monday Night Raw here in the UK on BT Sport.
