The Argentine superstar has found the going quite tough in the French capital since signing on a free transfer from Barcelona in the summer.
Messi is yet to score in Ligue 1, but did finally get off the mark for PSG in the team's 2-0 victory over Manchester City in the Champions League a few weeks back.
And the little magician's goal tally in European competition this season now stands at three after he netted a match-saving brace against RB Leipzig on Tuesday evening.
PSG took the lead in the match through the brilliant Kylian Mbappe, before the visiting side went 2-1 ahead thanks to goals from Andre Silva and Nordi Mukiele.
It looked for all the world that Mauricio Pochettino's side would slip to a defeat, but then Messi turned up and produced the goods for the Parisian outfit.
The 34-year-old netted an equaliser in the 67th-minute following some great play from Mbappe in the build-up, the Argentine tapping in from close-range after striking the inside of the post.
Then seven minutes later, Messi put his team 3-2 up from the penalty spot and he did so with the most delicious Panenka imaginable.
Take a look at his sumptuous dink from 12 yards here...

Beautiful, absolutely beautiful. Just before the full-time whistle was blown at the Parc des Princes, the hosts were awarded another penalty and it looked as if Messi was going to notch his first hat-trick for PSG.
However, Mbappe stepped up instead and the Frenchman's wild effort flew over the crossbar.

Neymar's reaction in the stands said it all...
But despite Mbappe's gaffe from the spot, PSG now sit top of their Champions League group following the 3-2 victory over Leipzig.
The French side have some very tough games to come, though.
They have to play Leipzig away in their next match, before a trip to England to play Pep Guardiola's awesome City side.
PSG will certainly need some more Messi magic in the Champions League if they're going to remain in first place in their group, that's for sure.
