Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant is a boxing fight many fans are getting excited about and excitement will increase for this bout as the undercard has been revealed.
The undercard at a boxing fight is always big news, as there are typically big fights happening with a lot at stake.
Super-middleweight world champion Canelo Alvarez is set to defend his WBC, WBA and WBO titles against Caleb Plant.
This event will no doubt be a very good one, and with so much at stake, many will be tuning in to see what happens.
Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant: Undercard
It was recently revealed that there would be three fights on the undercard, and these fights will see some boxers who need victories to get their careers back on track. The fights on the undercard are:
- Andre Dirrell vs. Marcos Hernandez
- Rey Vargas vs. Leonardo Baez
- Elvis Rodríguez vs. Juan Pablo Romero
Fighters like Dirrell, Vargas and Rodriguez have not had good results in their recent fights. Dirrell was a two-time WBC Super Middleweight Champion, but this glory is definitely past him. Dirrell hasn’t had a victory in boxing for over two years.
It is good that we have three boxing fights on the undercard, as it will mean that boxing fans attending the fight will get their money’s worth.

Although there are a lot of fights on the night, some fans may not be too happy with the actual boxers on the undercard as it isn’t the strongest.
Although they aren’t the strongest, they can still provide some great entertainment on the night, so let's hope they provide a good spectacle.
We now have all the details around the fight, and with the fight on Saturday 6th November 2021, we only have a couple of weeks to wait until the two meet in the ring.
Be sure to keep an eye out for training footage of Alvarez and Plant, and no doubt Plant will have to do a lot on the night as Alvarez has won 56 fights, only drawn two and only lost one.
