Emma Raducanu: Tiffany ambassador nets ‘£2 million’ Dior deal

Emma Raducanu James Bond premiere

Emma Raducanu has been announced as the latest ambassador for high-end fashion brand Dior.

The teenager will represent Dior Creative Director, Maria Grazia Chiuri’s womenswear collections as well as skincare and make-up ranges.

Just last month, Raducanu became the face of Tiffany and Co. following her US Open triumph in New York.

Since then, the 18-year-old has catapulted to stardom –– attending multiple high-profile events, including the Met Gala and the premiere of the new James Bond film ‘No Time To Die.’

The British number one wore a dress by Dior at the Bond red carpet event and took to Twitter yesterday to reveal her new partnership with the “iconic” fashion house.

Raducanu wrote: “Very excited to join this iconic house, thank you Dior.”

British Vogue also published an interview with Raducanu, where she revealed how it felt wearing her dress at the Bond premiere.

“It felt heavenly,” she said. “Being able to wear a dress like that made with all the magic in the Dior ateliers was a totally unique experience. The detailed embroidery was exceptional and I was so honoured to attend my first movie premiere in it.”

According to the Mail, it is estimated Raducanu’s Dior deal is worth £2 million, though this figure is unconfirmed.

Aside from negotiating endorsement deals, the teenager has also been trying to focus on tennis itself and remains in search of a new permanent coach.

Raducanu is reportedly trialling Johanna Konta’s former mentor, Esteban Carril, who helped the 30-year-old reach the top 10 of the rankings and an Australian Open semi-final.

This week, Raducanu pulled out of the Kremlin Cup in Moscow and is still yet to win a match since her historic victory at Flushing Meadows.

Her next tournament will be the Transylvania Open in Romania –– the home country of her father. The competition starts on October 25th and will run until the 31st.
