In one of the most chaotic and frankly laughable WWE segments in recent memory, the company's Chairman Vince McMahon tore BOTH of his squads and was left unable to stand.

Back in January 2005, WWE put on the Royal Rumble pay-per-view, the event that pretty much sets up the major feuds going into that year's WrestleMania.

The final two entrants in the men's Rumble match that year were Batista and John Cena, but disaster struck when both men fell over the top rope and landed outside at the same time.

The spot certainly wasn't planned, and WWE Chairman Vince McMahon was understandably irate that things hadn't gone the way he wanted them to.

Batista WWE Royal Rumble

A very angry Vince McMahon stormed down to the ring to restart the match, but the 59-year-old overstretched as he got into the ring, somehow tearing BOTH of his quads.

McMahon tried to get back to his feet as he got into the ring, but was so badly injured that he legs kept giving way.

This led to McMahon having to sit in the ring while restarting the match, which is a moment that fans still laugh about to this day.

Vince McMahon WWE Royal Rumble

The match was restarted, with Batista eliminating John Cena to win that year's Royal Rumble match, going on to beat Triple H for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 21.

While John Cena was not able to win the match, he still ended up getting a world title match at WrestleMania 21, beating John Bradshaw Layfield to win the WWE Championship at the show.

Things all worked out for WWE in the end, with John Cena and Batista still getting their moments and Vince McMahon recovering, but the segment goes down as one of the wildest in WWE history.
