Warzone Season 6: Developers Openly Mock Campers With Hilarious Statement

Warzone Season 6

The developers of Call of Duty Warzone have made a hilarious remark aimed towards those players that choose to camp to win matches.

Over the years, some segments of the gaming community have taken it upon themselves to stay in the same place crouched either behind a wall, boxes or perched around a corner and pick off enemies that are out of cover.

This is also been happening on Warzone since its launch during the COVID-19 pandemic back in 2020 and there has always been a dim view towards those that implement such a tactic in-game.

With this in mind, Raven Software, the developers of Warzone, have joined those band of players to put a label on those that choose to camp.

The short and concise wording that they went with to describe these players is highly amusing - something that you perhaps wouldn't see other gaming organisations doing.

Call of Duty Campers

Thanks to Charlie Intel, we got to see what Raven really thought about campers in their game as part of a statement regarding fear increasing when certain events occur during matches.

While taking enemy fire, spotting dead bodies and downed squad mates were listed, so was camping in which Raven added the word "cowardice" in brackets.

This is one way to put campers in their place, we suppose. Nevertheless, it provided plenty of reactions to this on social media.
