Braun Strowman has confirmed that he would be interested in signing for AEW following his release from WWE

The former WWE Universal Champion, who primarily worked on Raw, made his return to wrestling earlier this month, taking on EC3 at the Free The Narrative 2 pay-per-view.

However, he has yet to sign with a new company and he has now confirmed that he would be interested in making the move to WWE's main competition.

But that does come with a caveat, as Strowman, real name Adam Scherr, has revealed that he simply does not have the time currently to work a full-time schedule, given the other projects he is also working on.

So he is hoping that he can work around that with any company he signs for.

Speaking to Sports Illustrated, as per WrestleTalk, Scherr was asked about the prospect of joining AEW and replied:

“Yeah, we’ve sat down, and discussed stuff like that with my agent and things like that. We’re just trying to find a fit now, where everything kind of will work together, since now, there’s so many things that I’m working on in my personal life. I don’t have as much time to devote to the full-time schedule to wrestle now.

“So, it’s trying to find somewhere where I’ll be able to land in there to show up, have fun and entertain the people, but still be able to work on my side projects along the way.”

It is worth noting here that Impact are running a pay-per-view this weekend, with Bound for Glory slated to take place on Saturday October 23rd.

If he were to wrestle for them, that would be a good place to start, and we know that Impact and AEW have forged a working relationship over the past couple of months, with notable stars such as Kenny Omega and Don Callis appearing on both shows.
