It's quite well documented that Vince McMahon didn't like Kevin Owens' WrestleMania 33 match with Chris Jericho, and we may know the reason why.Speaking to Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT, Chris Jericho revealed why Vince McMahon told Kevin Owens that he thought the match was the 'worst in WrestleMania history', at least in his opinion.Jericho says that McMahon had some issues with Kevin Owens' weight at the time and wanted the former Universal Champion to shed a few pounds.Jericho seemed to suggest that he thinks Vince McMahon was more critical of the match to Kevin Owens because of the supposed issues he had with the former WWE NXT star:

He told Kevin it was the ‘worst match in WrestleMania history’ (laughs). I never heard anything about that. When I came through, Vince went (thumbs up), so I think he was on Kevin’s case at the time,” Jericho explained. “I think he was going through a phase where he thought maybe Kevin had some extra weight that he wanted him to lose or wasn’t happy with his work as a heel.

Jericho continued by speaking about how Vince McMahon can "go through phases" where he just starts to get "pissed off" at WWE performers for certain things they do.

The former World Heavyweight Champion seems to think that this is one of the reasons that Vince McMahon may have been critical of the match to Owens:

For whatever reason, Vince goes through phases where you just get stuck in his craw and he gets pissed off at anything you do and maybe that was one of his reasons. But yeah… the worst match in WrestleMania history?! I was like ‘have you not seen Giant Gonzalez vs The Undertaker!

Kevin Owens was drafted over to Monday Night Raw in the WWE Draft this month, while Chris Jericho wrestles for AEW.
