The 2021 Queen’s Crown tournament final concluded at WWE Crown Jewel today, with Zelina Vega beating Doudrop to win the first-ever tournament.
Zelina Vega became the inaugural Queen’s Crown tournament winner today in Saudi Arabia, becoming the first Superstar to win the tournament since it was introduced this year.
Zelina Vega outlasted the likes of Toni Storm, Liv Morgan, Shayna Baszler, Natalya, Carmella and Dana Brooke in the tournament, before defeating Doudrop in the final to win the whole thing.
Zelina Vega was moved from SmackDown to WWE Raw in the WWE Draft this month, so will be taking the momentum from her big win onto the red brand from next week.
The match was significant for a few reasons, not only being the first-ever Queen’s Crown tournament final, but also being the third women’s match in WWE history to take place in Saudi Arabia.
Crown Jewel 2021 is also the first WWE show to feature more than one women’s match, with Bianca Belair vs. Becky Lynch vs. Sasha Banks set for later in the card.
