The 2021 King of the Ring tournament final concluded at WWE Crown Jewel today, with Xavier Woods fulfilling his destiny by beating Finn Balor to win the tournament.Xavier Woods became the 2021 King of the Ring tournament winner today, becoming the first Superstar to win King of the Ring since Baron Corbin back in 2019.The tournament kicked off on the October 8 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, with Sami Zayn defeating Rey Mysterio in the tournament's first match.Xavier Woods outlasted the likes of Cesaro, Kofi Kingston, Jinder Mahal and the aforementioned Sami Zayn and Rey Mysterio in the tournament, before defeating Finn Balor in the final to win the whole thing.

This isn't the only tournament match to have taken place tonight, with Zelina Vega beating Doudrop to win the first-ever Queen's Crown tournament earlier on at Crown Jewel.

Xavier Woods was moved from WWE Raw to SmackDown in the WWE Draft this month, so will be taking the momentum from his big win onto the blue brand from next week.
