We've had variable weather in recent races in Formula 1 but it looks as though the US Grand Prix is most likely to throw up something a little more predictable.

Races in Istanbul and Sochi before that both saw damp conditions play their part in enthralling races.

In Turkey, we saw a wet track struggle to dry out for the duration of the race whilst a late downpour in Russia took victory away from Lando Norris in the most dramatic of circumstances.

That all said, the weather forecast for the US Grand Prix looks set to be a great deal drier - though there is still at least a chance of showers.

On Friday, we're set for warm and dry conditions. There'll be highs of 29C and there's a chance of less than 20% that we'll get rain during Friday running.

Free practice 3 and qualifying also looks set to be held in settled weather. With a 20% chance of rain and highs of 30C currently being predicted.

On Sunday, for the race, things could get a little more interesting as there's currently a 40% chance of showers during the Grand Prix, alongside highs of 30C once more.

Most likely, we're set for a dry and warm weekend in Texas, though there's at least a half chance we could get some rain during the Grand Prix itself on Sunday.
