Conor McGregor has been training during his rehabilitation and fans are just stunned to see his size at present.

The Irishman broke his leg during his trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier and underwent surgery.

While recuperating, McGregor has continued to train and has been lifting heavy weights which has had an effect on his size.

A few fans have opined that he has put on too much muscle to fight. In response, McGregor said on Instagram:  "All I read was 'look how big he has got.' My man! These clowns are f***ed when I get back."

Speaking on his weight training, Notorious said:

"There are pro’s and cons to everything. I could not move the last three months, so I brought heavy weights to me, and moved them. Repetitively. Play with the cards you are dealt. My power is up over 50 per cent."

Despite not being involved in action, McGregor still manages to make headlines, albeit for the wrong reasons. He was recently accused of punching DJ Francesco Facchinetti in Italy and could face legal action as the 41-year-old said he intends to sue him.

Earlier, he was involved in a heated exchange of words with Khabib Nurmagomedov's manager Ali Abdelaziz, telling that he would celebrate the latter's death.

McGregor's recovery from his injury has been quicker than expected and while he has put on a great deal of muscle, it could well make him stronger.

It will be interesting to see what's next for the Irishman. A fourth fight against Poirier is on the cards with UFC president Dana White saying earlier that it could happen when McGregor recovers from his injury.

Many, including Khabib, have suggested that Notorious should retire from the sport but he seems to have no intention of doing so.

McGregor has lost four of his last five fights and if he suffers a defeat on his comeback, then maybe hanging his gloves would be the ideal thing to do.
