There has been back and forth talk about ‘Iron Mike’ facing off against the YouTuber turned pro boxer for some time, with the heavyweight/catchweight clash likely to destroy box office records.

The heavily rumoured date for the contest is February 2022. This date has been ‘confirmed’ by several sources, including major influencer @KEEMSTAR.
The official date for the fight has not been confirmed by either party, however, it is expected to be revealed in the coming months ahead of the huge clash.
With the contest proper having not yet been officially confirmed, there is no knowledge publicly on what the weight class will be for the fight.
Tyson is of course one of the most notorious heavyweights in history, however, Paul’s last contest was again Floyd Mayweather, so it is likely that we would see a catchweight contest between the veteran and young pretender.
Again there is no confirmation on the actual fight date, so we do not currently have any ticketing information available.
It’s fair to say that should the fight go ahead it will be one of the hottest ticketed events of 2022, not just in boxing but across mainstream media and sports overall.
Tyson is currently expected to be entering the ring as the favourite ahead of the proposed clash in February 2022.
What The Fighters Are Saying
Tyson revealed in October 2021 that he absolutely love the opportunity to face either of Paul brothers, Jake or Logan.
“Hell yeah,” Tyson stated on an episode of his Hot Boxin’ podcast. “That would be a lot of money. For $100 million bucks, they’d do anything. They don’t care about getting beat up.”
As of writing, Logan has not made any comments regarding the showdown publicly, but the closer that we get to the announcement of the mega bout the more likely we are to hear from the controversial and outspoken YouTuber following his big-money fight against Mayweather earlier in 2021.
