Journalist Stuart Hodge feels that Neil Lennon has badly tarnished his legacy at Celtic since leaving the club in February.
Across two spells in charge of the Hoops, Lennon won five league titles and five domestic cups, but he was sacked earlier this year after a poor run of form saw his side trailing in Rangers' wake.
What has Lennon done since he left Celtic?
The Northern Irishman did not appear to leave Celtic on the best terms, and he has not been shy in criticising the club since his departure.
Back in June, he hit out at a section of the side's supporters, claiming that he had "nothing in common" with them, and he has refused to hold back on the team either.
Last month, he labelled Celtic's style of play as "kamikaze" after they were thrashed 4-0 by Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League.
What has Hodge said about Lennon?
Hodge believes Lennon's comments have damaged his reputation at Celtic. He has hinted that the 50-year-old has shown a lack of respect towards the club that gave him so much as a player and then as a manager.
Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, he said: “Neil Lennon is basically trying to exonerate himself any time he goes on a channel. I’ve never seen someone tarnish a legacy so quickly, so brutally, with such disregard for the institution.”

What was Lennon's record at Celtic?
Lennon signed for Celtic as a player in 2000, and remained at Parkhead for seven years. During that period, he won the SPL on five occasions, and earned 11 pieces of silverware in total.
He then returned to the club in 2010 as manager, and guided the team back to the top of Scottish football, winning three straight titles, which included completing a domestic double in 2012/13.
Upon returning in 2019, he was greeted by a resurgent Rangers under the stewardship of Steven Gerrard, but still managed to win a domestic treble in 2019/20, which appeared to secure his legacy as a club legend.
However, Hodge now believes that Lennon's legacy will always have an asterisk next to it due to his reaction to being sacked at the start of this year, and it is hard to argue that Lennon is still seen in the same light as he once was by the Celtic fans.
