Former Manchester United captain Roy Keane is one of the most outspoken pundits in the football world. The Irishman is not known to pull his punches on any subject - and has certainly never done so when it comes to the managerial reign of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Old Trafford.
The 48-year-old Norwegian was a shock choice to succeed Jose Mourinho - initially on a caretaker basis - after the Portuguese was sacked by Manchester United in December 2018.
A strong few months at the helm (or wheel) saw Solskjaer awarded the job on a permanent basis in March 2019, having won 14 of his 19 games in charge to that point.
Just a month later, though, the Red Devils were beaten 2-0 at Old Trafford by fierce local rivals Manchester City, prompting Keane to launch into a blistering attack on a United side that had also lost 4-0 at Everton three days prior.

Accusing the players in the Old Trafford dressing room of not performing to their best, Keane predicted that the attitude of some of the United squad would spell the end for his former teammate Solskjaer - just as it had done for Mourinho earlier that same season.
"I'm always intrigued when I hear players say 'we'll be up for the next game'. You're supposed to be up for every game," declared Keane at the time.
"To me, it doesn't matter if you're playing for Man Utd or Altrincham. You've got to be up for every game of football.
"These are the same players that threw Mourinho under the bus - and they will do exactly the same to Ole. Leopards don't change their spots. There are too many bluffers at the club to get United back to the very top."
Some 30 months later, Solskjaer reportedly sits on the verge of losing his job after consistent underperformance so far this season from an expensively assembled United squad.
Sundays 5-0 hammering at the hands of Liverpool could potentially be Solskjaer's last in the role, with his players doing little to help his plight - just as Keane had suggested.

As Solskjaer struggles to cling to his job, he must surely wonder quite how he has reached this point with such a talented group of players at his disposal.
A United side boasting the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Bruno Fernandes, Paul Pogba and David de Gea (among many others) should - with respect - be good enough to get the better of sides such as Everton and Aston Villa at home. A five-goal mauling by Liverpool wouldn't have been predicted by many a month ago, either.
Things have gone very wrong, very quickly for Solskjaer at Old Trafford. Whether he gets the opportunity to try and turn the club around remains to be seen.
