Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah is arguably the best player in the world right now and his card in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team (FUT) reflects that.
His current form in the Premier League has caught the eyes of the world, especially after scoring a hat-trick at Old Trafford during his side's 5-0 win over Manchester United.
EA have typically rewarded Salah down the years for performances similar to the one mentioned above. But he was not always the high-rated world-beater that we know and love.

Mohamed Salah FIFA Ultimate Team History
Thanks to Futwiz, we got to see a clear picture of where Salah started and where he currently stands in the world of football.
Salah was a bit-part player in Jose Mourinho's Chelsea side back in 2014 before being loaned out to the Swiss giants FC Basel. His silver card with 91 pace still looks appealing even today.
The upgrades began a year later with his first gold, in-form and man-of-the-match cards - thanks to solid performances with his second loan club Fiorentina.
Salah's growth continued once more and was included in the Serie A Team of the Season (TOTS) in FIFA 16, but his gold card was nothing special at this time.
The Egyptian was starting to make noise in the world of football, and EA certainly noticed. three in-form cards, a MOTM and TOTS card was only the start for Salah in FIFA 17.
A record-breaking campaign with Liverpool saw his FIFA 18 card upgraded to 85 and with an eye-watering pace. A savage player to have in any FUT squad.
The special cards came thick and fast in FIFA 19 as you can see. His 88 gold card meant that he was one of the most valuable cards in the game when it first launched. His goal tally in real life meant that EA gave him his first Team of the Year (TOTY) card in this game.
His highest starting rating to date, Salah was granted a 90-rated card in FIFA 20 and even earned himself a TOTS card with 99 pace during a season where he won the Premier League with Liverpool.
While this season was unsuccessful for Salah, he was still absolutely on top of his game and two in-form cards, a Team of the Group Stage and TOTS editions of Salah were also on offer to players during FIFA 21.
While many were puzzled by EA's decision to downgrade Salah, he is still a hugely expensive player on FUT. His in-form card is even more so and he is expected to receive an array of special cards as the season pans out. Watch this space.
