Sims 5: Release Date, Multiplayer, Trailer, PS4, Nintendo Switch And Everything You Need To Know

The Sims 5 is scheduled for release on 8th April 2021.

The Sims 5 is expected to be announced very soon and the anticipation about the upcoming social simulation game is growing as the days and weeks pass.

Maxis, the game's developers, have not added to the series since the release of the fourth edition back in September 2014 and later on for macOS, PS4 and Xbox One in 2015 and 2017 respectively.

Speculation, rumours and whispers are beginning to quantify across all platforms on social media as fans of the franchise wonder what EA have in store for them.

While The Sims 5 has yet to be announced, there is no harm in looking forward in regards to what fans might expect.

Sims 5 Release Date

UPDATE 15th January 2022: It may be quite some time before we see The Sims 5 hit retail sale, as the latest DLC for Sims 4 has been leaked. DLC kit is called the Carnival Street Wear Kit and is set to release on February 3rd, 2022.

At the time of writing, no official release date has been confirmed regarding when The Sims 5 could launch.

As 2021 draws to a close, it looks less likely that we will get an announcement from either Maxis or EA before 2022 in relation to when players might get to play the new game.

We will update this article regularly as soon as more news breaks from either the developers or publishers.

Will Sims 5 Be Coming to PS4?
