There was a bizarre moment during Altrincham's 2-1 defeat against Solihull Moors in their National League clash on Monday evening as a fan invaded the pitch late on and produced a spectacular slide tackle.
The game started so well for the home side as they took the lead in the 15th minute through Barry Baggley.
But Solihull mounted a comeback in the second half.
Justin Donawa levelled proceedings just after the break before Joe Sbarra scored what turned out to be the winner in the 72nd minute.
Solihull were looking to close out the game and they had possession in the 90th minute.
Adam Rooney was running down the left-wing when an Altrincham fan decided to take matters into their own hands.
The Altrincham supporter jumped over the barriers and ran onto the pitch before producing a spectacular slide tackle that stopped Rooney in his tracks. Watch the moment below:
Now, we shouldn't be condoning what the fan has done.
It's very silly behaviour and the individual should really be punished for his actions.
But you've got to hand it to the fan - that's a superb challenge.

Based on the tackle alone, Altrincham probably could have done with him in defence during the game.
Altrincham are now ninth in the National League having picked up 19 points from their opening 12 games.
Solihull are six points better off in fifth, although they have played a game more than the The Robins.
