Sheamus has a career as a psychic once his days in the wrestling are over, as the WWE star correctly predicted the exact scoreline for Liverpool's thumping of Man United last weekend.

At an event in Los Angeles this weekend for NBC to promote the network's coverage of Man United vs. Liverpool, Sheamus gave his prediction for arguably the biggest game in English football.

Sheamus not only predicted that Liverpool would beat Man United, something that many fans thought would happen, but the Irishman predicted that Liverpool would win 5-0.

For those that don't know, Liverpool did actually end up beating their rivals 5-0 while playing away from home, which is something that hasn't happened in several decades.

Whether that was a lucky guess or evidence of Sheamus having insane football knowledge remains to be seen, but it's worth asking the WWE star for the lottery numbers this weekend just in case.

Sheamus is an avid Liverpool supporter, and recently made headlines for claiming that Cristiano Ronaldo is not one of the greatest footballers ever, which you can read more about by clicking here.

Sheamus was drafted over to Friday Night SmackDown in the WWE Draft this month, with many speculating that he'll be entering the Intercontinental title scene now he's on the blue brand.

The Intercontinental Championship is the only title in WWE that Sheamus hasn't won, and he's expressed a strong desire to win the belt before he wraps up his wrestling career.

Sheamus has even promised to win the belt in interviews before, and if his football predictions are anything to go by, it seems like the Irishman will definitely be picking up the title before too long.

You can watch Sheamus every week live here in the UK on Friday Night SmackDown on BT Sport.
