Kha’Zix is getting nerfed as part of the League of Legends 11.22 Patch

League of Legends 11.22 will be released in early November and it has already been confirmed that Kha’Zix will be getting nerfed.

Riot Phlox confirmed on Twitter that there were going to be a number of changes coming to the new patch on Wednesday November 3rd, including some nerfs to Kha’Zix.

Here’s everything that we know about the nerfs that will be coming to Kha’Zix in the League of Legends 11.22 patch.

League of Legends Patch 11.22 will be one of the last patches to be released as part of the 2021 ranked season.

Why Is Kha’Zix Getting Nerfed?

Riot Phlox confirmed the following nerfs for Kha’Zix:

  • Q Ratio: 130% bonus AD >>> 115% bonus AD
  • Q Iso Ratio: 273% bonus AD >>> 241.5% bonus AD

Fans have reacted to the news that Kha’Zix is getting nerfed on r/leagueoflegends, with one stating “that's a pretty sizable kha'zix nerf.”

Another Redditor explained why they believe that the nerf was happening, saying “he has too much damage in isolation and not enough in the rest of the kit. If you E over adc with a support nearby -> get f*cked, but if you E Q isolated target they're at 10% or less.”

This analysis was supported by another user on the subreddit, who added “Hard agree. I always hate unintuitive gameplay like when Akali mobility spell was a giant AP nuke.

“Thematically, nothing indicates to me that Kha'Zix damage should be halved or doubled based on whether there is a minion or ally near a target.

“Whenever I tried to play Kha'Zix I would underestimate how crippling it is to not get isolated damage. His Q and W evolutions even depend on isolation as well.”

There’s been no ‘official’ reason released by Riot Games confirming why they decided to implement these changes for Patch 11.22.

The company may well decide to revert back to the previous settings in a hotfix following the update on Wednesday November 3rd, although we will have to wait and see how the nerfs affect the meta of LoL first.
