Apex Legends Season 11 will roll out the red carpet for the all-new Storm Point map which will take players to a desert island.
Escape is the title of the latest chapter of the hugely successful first-person shooter and will place the theme based around a vacation-style setting.
Storm Point will be the fourth map being brought into the series and is located on the fictional planet Gaea and is an abandoned research facility featuring a variety of derelict and diverse locations.
With this in mind, gamers will be intrigued to get stuck in playing as Ash, who is the newest legend introduced into the Apex universe.
So what else can gamers expect in Storm Point? Scroll down to find out everything that we know so far about the new Apex map in Season 11.
Apex Legends Season 11 Map
EA revealed on their official website that Storm Point will be the newest map added to Apex Legends.
Here are the details around the new map that you will need to know:
Gone are the days of shooting up redeploy balloons and say hello to the new and quicker way to get away from the shrinking circle. Step inside one of these cannons and you will be shot into the air where you have pitch control and land in the various receiving points to steer clear of any wildlife.
Speaking of exactly that, creepy crawlies and dangerous creatures will be lurking about across the island making it a new threat for you to have to deal with. You can find out where are hiding thanks to the Wildlife Nests scattered around the map.
Prowlers, Spiders and Flyers
These are the three sets of creatures that you will have to be on the lookout for and will not hesitate to take you out of the game if you are unprepared.
Whether it's in the sky or sitting peacefully outside certain locations on the map, there is a chance you could become lunch if you aren't careful.
As you can see from the image above, Spider Eggs can be located around Storm Point. But be careful not to disturb them otherwise a swarm of spiders will come chasing you.
However, spotting an enemy squad in the distance who happen to be passing near some Eggs could make for some entertaining viewing if you shoot them with the sniper rifle from distance. Not that we are giving you ideas...
Wildlife Nests can be easily identified on the map thanks to red markers that can be found right across the map. So be sure to steer clear from them if you can help it.
We will have an article in the coming days about the various locations in Storm Point so be sure to be on the lookout for that.
