Journalist Luke Hatfield felt that Jacob Ramsey's first Premier League goal deserved to be more than a consolation.
In fact, it wasn't just the 20-year-old's maiden top-flight goal, but his first ever for his boyhood club Aston Villa.
But given the quality of the strike, Hatfield was left disappointed that it didn't count for more in the context of the game with Villa trailing 3-0 at Arsenal with little time remaining when he curled into the top corner.
What happened against Arsenal?
Villa came into the game hoping to end their two-match winless run following a disappointing result against Spurs this month and a horrible late defeat to Wolves, but their fortunes only went from bad to worse in what was arguably their poorest performance of the season.

In truth, Villa hardly laid a glove on Arsenal and found themselves 3-0 down with more than half an hour remaining following goals from Thomas Partey, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Emile Smith-Rowe, the man they tried to sign earlier this summer.
Villa did at least fightback in the second-half and whilst they'll want to forget their trip to the Emirates in a hurry, there was one notable moment in north London.
On 68 minutes, Ramsey replaced Emiliano Buendia and took less than a quarter of an hour to leave his mark on the game when he curled home a stunning first Premier League goal to reduce the deficit.
It gave Villa some late momentum, but they weren't able to get any closer to Arsenal and slipped to a 3-1 defeat.
However, it was one positive for Dean Smith to take from what was a second miserable trip to the capital in October.

What did Hatfield say about Ramsey's goal?
He told GIVEMESPORT: "When he came on against Arsenal, he took his goal fantastically, what a strike it was. It was a real shame that was his first Premier League goal, because it came in a game which Villa were really climbing a mountain at that point, let's be honest."
Was Ramsey's goal a sign of things to come?
The midfielder might be relatively new into Aston Villa's first-team, with this just his second year in the senior side, but Ramsey is already making great strides under Smith.
But if Ramsey wants to become the complete midfielder, he needs to add more goals to his game having failed to score in his first 35 appearances for the first-team.
However, there were two aspects of his goal against Arsenal that could suggest his wonder strike might well be the first of many.
Not only did the youngster arrive on the edge of the box and pick up a Frank Lampard-like position, but the finish was of someone that has the ability to be on the scoresheet on a regular basis.
