Luke Hatfield reckons that Jordan Hugill's goal against Bristol City on Saturday was a "huge boost" for both him and Valerien Ismael.
Hugill, valued at £1.8m by Transfermarkt, had gone nine Championship appearances without scoring before netting in the 3-0 win over the Robins to help the Baggies stay second in the table.

Ismael's men came into the game on the back of two defeats in three matches, which meant the pressure was on in front of an expectant home crowd.

Previous home games against Birmingham and Queens Park Rangers have proved cagey affairs, but Hugill, on loan from Norwich City, ensured that there wouldn't be a repeat when he swept home Darnell Furlong's cross to give West Brom an early lead.
Furlong was at it again just before the break when he picked out Kyle Bartley to make it 2-0, although only after Hugill squandered a guilt-edge chance to get his second of the afternoon.
Karlan Grant continued his red-hot form in front of goal by putting the result beyond doubt minutes into the second-half, but Hatfield was keen to reflect on Hugill's big moment having gone 476 minutes without finding the net in a Baggies shirt.

What did Hatfield say?
He told GIVEMESPORT: "It'll be massive for him. It'll provide a huge boost for him and a huge boost for Ismael as well.
"But for him, confidence wise, it'll just be brilliant to see the ball hit the back of the net."
Should Hugill keep his place against Fulham on Saturday?
Ismael has a huge decision ahead of what's arguably the biggest game he's faced as West Brom boss.
Managers often like to stick with a winning side, but he might be tempted to bring back Callum Robinson, who'd not only started the previous four league matches, but scored five times across two games for the Republic of Ireland over the international break.
However, Robinson hasn't found the net since the opening three league fixtures back in August and with Hugill finally back in the goals and now surely full of confidence, that could just prove the deciding factor to give the Canaries loanee the nod at Craven Cottage.
