Daniel Dubois is sat quietly with his brother at the back of the room by themselves.
Occasionally someone or other goes over to say a quick 'hello' but for the most part he remains relatively undisturbed, which is just the way he likes it.
For once, the oldest Dubois isn't the centre of attention.
Instead, that honour falls to his younger sister Caroline, who makes her debut on the undercard of Richard Riakporhe's clash against Olanrewaju Durodola on November 20.
The younger Dubois was put through her paces at a media workout in London on Tuesday as her pro debut looms.
The 20-year-old looked calm and composed at Glaziers Hall as she continued her preparations for the big occasion at Wembley's SSE Arena.
Now that the spotlight isn't on him, Dubois visibly relaxes. It's a different side to the Dulwich-born prodigy, who was thrust rather awkwardly into the spotlight at the age of 20, but is gradually starting to come out of his shell as time progresses.
Relieved of any official duties, Dubois starts to open up. During a wide-ranging interview, he lets slip that he will be fighting on the undercard of Tommy Fury's fight with YouTube upstart Jake Paul in December before the end of the year.
When asked for his thoughts about the fight itself, he nonchalantly shrugs.
"It is what it is, man," Dubois told GIVEMESPORT.
"It's going to be lively, it'll be fun, it's going to be a good show.
"People shouldn't take it too seriously.
"I think I'm out there on the undercard as well in Miami and I'm looking forward to it."
And while it may not be everyone's cup of tea, Dubois believes the benefits of showbiz boxing, or to coin a phrase 'celebrity boxing', vastly outweigh the negatives. For Dubois, it provides him with the chance to raise his profile in the United States.
"People are interested, it drives a lot of attention," Dubois said.
"It might just be a quick thing but whilst it's here it's a whole lot of fun.
"It's boxing at the end of the day, it's at a reasonably high level as well, so you either love it or you hate it."
Dubois, 24, has a professional record of 17-1, with all but one of those coming by the way of KO.
The WBA interim heavyweight champion is currently on the comeback trail following the defeat to Joe Joyce towards the back end of last year.
To many observers it was a fight that probably came too soon for Dubois with the benefit of hindsight of course.
But that won't stop him from jumping straight back in at the deep end - even if that means taking on some of the most-avoided names in the heavyweight division.
Dubois insisted that: "Yeah definitely. The big names, Derek Chisora, Joseph Parker, those guys at that level.
"I need to be in a proper fight and give the people a real show.
"I know what I can do myself but I need to be in the fights that test me like that so I want those fights.
"It's about maturing, it's about getting to a stage where these guys want to fight me, and then these fights can happen, once there's something on the line or whatever, I don't know.
"That's the level I need to be at."
Dubois was also asked about his burgeoning relationship with new trainer Shane McGuigan. "Shane is definitely the man for the job.
"He's got plenty of knowledge, his dad Barry McGuigan is always around.
"There's constant information coming in your ears, every time you go to the gym you learn something new, so that's great.
Asked if McGuigan can get the best out of him, Dubois said: "He's turned Lawrence [Okolie] into a world champion.
"I'm confident he'll turn me and Caroline into world champions too. I don't know who will get there first but we'll see.
"We train at a great gym and we've got a great team around us so it's up to us to get the job done."
