The UFC rankings have been updated after UFC Vegas 41, and there are some big changes in the men's pound for pound (P4P) rankings.
Welterweight champion Kamaru Usman remains at the top of the rankings and will defend his belt against Colby Covington in the main event at UFC 268 in December.
Further down the list, American fighter Jon Jones has dropped from No.2 to No.4 in the P4P rankings, while Alexander Volkanovski takes his spot at No.2 after he outlasted Brian Ortega in a brutal slugfest at UFC 266 back in September.
The Australian is followed in third place by middleweight champion Israel Adesanya, who defeated Marvin Vettori to retain his belt in June, and will now fight second in the division Robert Whittaker.
Francis Ngannou rounds off the top five in the P4P rankings, one place above Dustin Poirier, with ‘The Predator’ set to return to the Octagon at UFC 270 in January, squaring off against interim heavyweight champion Ciryl Gane for the heavyweight title.
Jones, who has dropped down two places this week, is notably keeping his eye on that fight, with a potential blockbuster showdown with the winner taking place somewhere down the line.
The two-time light heavyweight champion Jones hasn’t fought since his win over Dominick Reyes in February 2020, but is patiently waiting for his debut in the heavyweight class and will look to secure a shot at claiming the divisional belt from the winner.
Below Poirier, who sits in sixth, are; Jan Blachowicz, Stipe Miocic, Max Holloway, Charles Oliveira, Brandon Moreno, Whittaker, Petr Yan, Justin Gaethje & then Gane rounds off the top 14.

No doubt this will continue to change as we head into the last couple of months of the year, and no doubt there will be some BIG moves early next year, but for now, Kamaru Usman is the top dog of the UFC.
